Menthe is the largest apartment we have, and it is a loft — three bedrooms spread over two levels rather than strung along a corridor. Balconies run off the living room.
For a group of six who want room to spread out rather than the maximum number of bathrooms, this is the one. If bathrooms matter more than floor area, Nuit and Rouge each have three.

These are apartments rather than hotel rooms: there is no reception desk, and every one has a proper kitchen and its own laundry, which is what makes a stay of a week or a season workable.
Chiado, and what is around it
Rua da Misericórdia runs along the spine of Chiado, with Praça Luís de Camões at the bottom of the street and the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara at the top. The Igreja de São Roque is a minute away on foot, Bairro Alto begins immediately behind the building, and Rua Garrett, the Baixa and the river are all downhill.
